<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>MoD is actively seeking a Warehouse Manager for an e-commerce client in the GTA. This role is ideal for a results-driven, process-oriented leader with experience in perishable goods and a passion for optimizing warehouse operations.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Oversee the handling, storage, and shipping of perishable goods to ensure freshness and compliance with health regulations.</li><li>Implement proper inventory rotation practices and monitor expiry dates to minimize product waste.</li><li>Efficiently manage the day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, order fulfillment, and shipping, to meet customer demands and timeframes.</li><li>Optimize warehouse layout and storage strategies for perishable and non-perishable products to ensure effective space utilization.</li><li>Champion obtaining necessary site licenses and other regulatory requirements.</li><li>Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations set by WSIB, Health Canada, and CFIA for handling wellness and nutrition products.</li><li>Implement and maintain best practices for handling, storing, and shipping perishable goods.</li><li>Utilize SAP or other warehouse management systems to maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.</li><li>Conduct regular cycle counts and perform stock reconciliation to minimize discrepancies.</li><li>Continuously identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, particularly those related to perishable goods handling.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.</li><li>Leverage your expertise in international shipping, especially with UPS or major carriers, to optimize global shipping processes.</li><li>Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and documentation requirements.</li><li>Lead and mentor a team of warehouse personnel to foster a positive and productive work environment.</li><li>Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and training as needed.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).</li><li>Proven experience in managing a warehouse with perishable goods, preferably in an e-commerce environment.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of health regulations, including WSIB, Health Canada, and CFIA rules.</li><li>Familiarity with warehouse management systems, especially SAP and Process Weaver.</li><li>Experience in international shipping, particularly with UPS or other major carriers.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.</li><li>Forklift certification and knowledge of workplace safety practices.</li></ul><p>Apply below today by clicking on the “Apply for Job” button.</p><p>Have a referral?
