Adecco is currently seeking an experienced <strong>System Administrator</strong> to support IT operations and infrastructure in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This 4-month contract role is located in Mount Pearl, NL, with a potential for permanent placement based on performance and business needs. <ul> <li> <strong> Pay rate: </strong> TBD based on experience <li> <strong> Location: </strong> Mount Pearl, NL <li> <strong> Job type: </strong> Temporary with potential for permanent placement<strong> </strong>| Full-time </ul> <strong>Here's why you should apply: </strong> <ul> <li> Hires fast, pays weekly. <li> 4% vacation pay paid out on each weekly pay cheque. <li> Medical and dental benefits once qualified. <li> Free training programs <li> New and quicker onboarding process </ul> <strong>Responsibilities:</strong> <ul> <li> Performing routine system admin tasks: server upgrades, patching, user account maintenance, and migrations. <li> Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues. <li> Monitoring, administering, and maintaining on-prem and hybrid cloud IT environments. <li> Leveraging automation and monitoring tools for infrastructure, storage, and network troubleshooting. <li> Collaborating with IT/IS teams to resolve incidents and support technology solutions. <li> Participating in cross-functional projects and rollouts aligned with business objectives. <li> Maintaining comprehensive documentation including system configurations, incident logs, and technical knowledge bases. <li> Identifying and documenting recurring issues to support continuous improvement. </ul> <strong>Requirements:</strong> <ul> <li> Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada. <li> 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar IT role. <li> Strong understanding of Windows/Linux server environments, networking, and system admin best practices. <li> Proven hands-on experience with hybrid cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS). <li> Skilled in using infrastructure monitoring tools, automation platforms, and patch management systems. <li> Working knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and storage management. <li> Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. <li> Excellent verbal and written communication skills. <li> Relevant certifications: MCSA/MCSE, CompTIA Server+/Network+, VMware VCP. <li> Scripting or automation experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc. <li> Background in supporting mid-size to enterprise IT environments. </ul> Apply now to this <strong>System Administrator </strong>job in Mount Pearl, NL for immediate employment consideration.
