<p><h3>Student Welcome Ambassadors – Job Overview</h3><p><b>Title:</b> Student Welcome Ambassadors</p><p><b>Department:</b> Office of the Registrar</p><p><b>Campus:</b> Ayamdigut (Whitehorse) Campus</p><p><b>Hourly rate:</b> $25.11 – 28.88</p><p><b>Hours:</b> Based on 4 – 12 hours weekly</p><p><b>Employment period:</b> Student hires to December 19, 2025</p><p><b>Employment Opportunity No.:</b> 25.113</p><p><b>Closing date:</b> Monday September 15, 2025</p><p>Note: The Office of the Registrar team seeks a dynamic individual who enjoys working with students, staff and the public.</p><h3>Duties</h3><ul><li>Provide information, assistance and related services to the public, students, faculty, and staff in a pleasant, timely and customer focused manner</li><li>Assist students and the public with campus way finding, including providing campus tours to prospective students and their supporters</li><li>Maneuver through the University website to answer general questions regarding the University</li><li>Create student identification cards</li><li>Assist the Office of the Registrar in digitizing files in an accurate and confidential manner</li><li>Assisting the creation of social media content regarding student life</li><li>Assisting the creation and management of bulletin boards across the University including providing insights into what type of information should be displayed and frequency of updates</li><li>Escalate inquiries to the University Navigators or other appropriate resources when needed</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Current Yukon University student</li><li>Excellent customer service and communication skills</li><li>Experience within an educational environment using a student information system</li><li>Problem solving skills are essential</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality</li></ul><p>Yukon University is committed to the values of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
