This role is vital to keeping the kitchen running smoothly and contributing to our overall food safety and customer satisfaction standards.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and glassware, ensuring that they are clean and sanitized in a timely manner.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and other work areas, ensuring they are free from debris and food residue.</li><li>Operate and maintain dishwashing machines and other kitchen cleaning equipment.</li><li>Sort and store clean dishes and utensils in the appropriate areas.</li><li>Assist in the removal of trash and recycling, ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and free of waste.</li><li>Assist kitchen staff with cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and supplies.</li><li>Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean work environment.</li><li>Restock cleaning supplies and ensure that all equipment is operational.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:<br /></strong></p><ul><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Authorized to work in Canada</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.</li><li>Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.</li><li>Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a physically demanding environment.</li><li>Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and teamwork mentality.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><p>Compensation All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.</p><p>Pay Range for this position</p><p>$17.25—$18.50 CAD</p></p><p><p>If you&#39;re interested in this role, please submit your application, and if we think you might be a fit, we&#39;ll get in touch with you. <strong>Thank you for your time!</strong></p><p></p><p><em><strong>CookUnity is an Equal Opportunity Employer</strong>.
