Our client, a well-established software and services company, is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer with strong expertise in Katalon Studio. This role involves supporting both domestic and international clients, as well as in-house software testing initiatives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct software testing and quality assurance (QA) activities, including unit, integration, end-to-end, and performance testing.
• Design, develop, document, and maintain automated tests using Katalon Studio, ensuring compliance with regulatory and business requirements.
• Maintain and update the Katalon test library.
• Train team members in the methodology of developing and maintaining Katalon-based tests.
• Collaborate with product managers to define and implement test strategies for product releases based on customer needs.
• Ensure testing aligns with regulatory standards and business requirements.
• Create manual test procedures and documentation when required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in the cloud-based IT industry.
• 3+ years of experience in web application testing.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Katalon Studio for automated web application testing.
• 2+ years of experience in technical writing.
• 1+ year of Computer System Validation (CSV) experience.
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub, other test automation tools).
• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., GitLab CI).
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365.
• Strong communication skills; fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-driven environment and deliver quality results on time and on budget.
• Capable of working remotely when required.
