Our insurance industry client in the downtown core is currently recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst. The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the finance team and responsible for ensuring financial information is accurate and timely. This role is broad in scope and will provide exposure and visibility to several areas. This is a professional yet family-oriented organization with a collaborative and supportive leadership team. The work environment is very positive with a focus on team and ensuring its employees are recognized and valued.Reporting to the VP Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will assist with FP&A and Controllership activities to provide management with timely and insightful analysis and ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data recorded in the accounting system. Responsibilities also include assisting in the preparation and filing of the regulatory and statutory annual and interim financial statements. The Senior Financial Analyst will also be expected to assist in other departmental projects and participate in ad hoc projects as they arise. TMGMS Job Requirements: CPA designation
3+ years big 4 audit experience in the insurance industry (preference for P&C)
IFRS 17 experience
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
