It's an ideal role for a technically strong accounting professional who can hit the ground running.<br><br><strong>About the Role</strong><br />Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Accountant will handle full-cycle accounting tasks including AP review, journal entries, and preparation of draft financial statements. This role is essential to maintain accounting accuracy and support financial stability.<br><br><strong>What You'll Do</strong><br /><ul><li>Oversee full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end processes</li><li>Prepare draft financial statements with attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Assist with internal reporting and general ledger maintenance</li><li>Work closely with another Senior Accountant to share workload across entities</li><li>Contribute to process improvement and ERP optimization (Sage 300 CRE)</li><li>Assist with ad hoc tasks during ERP or restructuring initiatives</li></ul><strong>What You Bring</strong><br /><ul><li>CPA designation in progress (preferred); CPA designation a strong asset</li><li>3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience in a mid-size or entrepreneurial environment</li><li>Solid technical accounting skills and ability to prepare working papers and financials</li><li>Proficiency in Sage 300 CRE is a strong asset</li><li>Comfortable with Excel and general ERP workflows</li><li>Ability to take initiative, work independently, and adapt in a changing environment</li></ul><strong>Why Join</strong><br />This is a practical, hands-on role where you can make a direct impact.
