<p><b>Position Title:</b> Power Platform Developer </p><p> <b>Location:</b> Wellington St W Toronto -willing to go 4 days a week to client's Toronto office</p><p> </p><p><b>Position Overview</b> </p><p>We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer with a strong background in Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate and SharePoint and other connectors. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and optimizing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. You will be responsible for building scalable applications, automating business processes, and delivering actionable insights through data visualization and analysis. </p><p> </p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b> </p><ul><li><b>Solution Development</b> </li><li>Design and implement applications using <b>Power Apps</b> (Canvas and Model-Driven) and <b>Power Automate</b> workflows. </li><li>Build dashboards and reports using <b>Power BI</b> for actionable insights. </li><li>Integrate Power Platform solutions with <b>SharePoint</b>, <b>Azure services</b>, <b>Jira</b>, <b>Confluence</b>, and third-party APIs. </li><li>Develop and manage <b>custom connectors</b> for external systems and services. </li><li>Identify business processes for automation and deliver scalable solutions. </li><li><b>Governance & Security</b> </li><li>Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and <b>Microsoft best practices</b>. </li><li>Manage <b>environmental strategies</b>, <b>data loss prevention policies</b>, and <b>role-based access control</b>. </li><li><b>Collaboration & Support</b> </li><li>Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. </li><li>Provide training and support for end-users and internal teams. </li><li><b>Continuous Improvement</b> </li><li>Stay updated on emerging <b>low-code/no-code platforms</b> and Microsoft ecosystem enhancements. </li><li>Recommend innovative solutions to improve efficiency and user experience. </li></ul><p> </p><p><b>Required Qualifications</b> </p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). </li><li>5+ years of experience with <b>Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Dataverse).</b> </li><li><b>Microsoft Certifications: </b>PL-200: Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant or PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer </li><li>Proven expertise in handling .csv files, Excel, and data transformation. </li><li>Experience in Integration solutions based on data being sourced from SharePoint Online and Dataverse. </li><li>Knowledge of integrating Power Apps with azure services(Logic Apps, Functions and Storage) </li><li>Strong knowledge of Power Fx, DAX and M/Power query as they apply to Power Apps. </li><li>Strong Understanding of REST APIs, JSON and data integration techniques. </li><li>Experience in utilizing JIRA and Confluence for project tracking. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to optimize Power BI dashboards and Power Automate flows for performance. </li><li>Familiarity with <b>ALM (Application Lifecycle Management)</b> for Power Platform solutions. </li><li>Experience in process mapping and process improvement through automation. </li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to gather requirements and present solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. </li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. </li></ul><p> </p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b> </p><ul><li>Microsoft Power Platform certifications PL200/PL400 </li><li>Experience with Azure services and cloud integrations. </li><li>Familiarity with other data visualization tools. </li><li>Experience working in Agile environments. </li><li>Experience in utilizing Python for performing data analysis and automation. </li></ul><p> </p><p><b>Key Skills</b> </p><ul><li>Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate </li><li>Data Analysis & Visualization </li><li>API Integration </li><li>JSON, Excel, .csv file handling </li><li>Performance Optimization </li><li>Process Mapping & Automation </li><li>Communication & Requirement Gathering </li><li>Python Data analysis</li></ul>
