Material Handler

Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will primarily work in the clean room and production floor area. Your main tasks will include retrieving products from the wash after CNC machining, moving finished pallets and skids, and placing parts in racks while updating production movements using Excel and Epicor warehouse management software. You will also spend about 50% of your time driving the reach truck to store boxes and skids, and moving between the wash area, assembly, production, and staging.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve products from the wash after CNC machining.
• Move finished pallets and skids.
• Place parts in racks and update the records using Excel spreadsheets.
• Use Excel and Epicor to update production movements digitally.
• Drive the reach truck to store boxes and skids (50% of the time).
• Move materials between the wash area, assembly, production, and staging.
• Check the production schedule and communicate with shippers.
• Communicate with the afternoon shift supervisor to determine material movements.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience with reach truck operation.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• External Reach and CB license.
• Experience with SAP or other warehouse management software (Epicor).
• Proficiency in Excel and computer usage.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
