About the Company Our client is a boutique residential development company that is rapidly growing. They are looking for a Manager, Project Finance to join their team! Why Work Here <ul><li >Fast growing boutique residential and multi-residential real estate portfolio that is serving the GTA community<li >Company is comprised of entrepreneurial leaders<li >Opportunity to progress and head the Finance team in future <li >Massive pipeline of current and upcoming development projects that this position will be able to get involved with</ul> About the Opportunity <ul><li >Develop and maintain accurate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders of projects, on a timely basis;<li >Prepare equity and debt draws for project ownership entities, partnerships, and joint ventures consistent with their respective legal structures, and in coordination with cost consultants and construction lenders<li >Prepare and review monthly Job Cost reports, monitor current budgets and actual costs and propose budget transfers, when appropriate;<li >Perform monthly bank and HST reconciliations and ensure HST filings are submitted on a timely basis, in accordance with CRA requirements;<li >Ensure that invoices are entered into the system correctly by AP Clerks and that all the relevant supporting schedules are complete and accurate;<li >Liaise with cost consultants and lenders to ensure monthly project monitor reports are completed accurately and that the funding is issued on time;<li >Monitor working capital balances, analyze project cost requirements and prepare funding schedules to be used when issuing capital calls to the partners;<li >Review monthly construction progress billing packages, to ensure these are prepared accurately and that all the required statutory documents are included;<li >Prepare year-end financial reports and P&L schedules and provide all required information to external accountants for preparation of financial statements and tax filings;<li >At the time of project completion, prepare SOA and Final Closing trackers and ensure that all the SOAs are accurate and that all the closing funds received tie to our records;<li >Support internal teams with requested financial analysis on an ad-hoc basis;<li >Perform other accounting duties, as required.</ul> About You <ul><li >CPA designation considered an asset<li >Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar role; project finance experience on development projects is considered a very strong asset</ul> Salary Range $115,000 - $130,000/year How to Apply Click the “Apply Now” button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
