We are looking for a detail-oriented, results focused individual to manage the corporate bank’s Client Profitability Model. The model is a key tool used by corporate bankers to evaluate the expected profitability of prospective client scenarios focusing on risk-adjusted rates of return.


What You’ll Do:



  • Act as subject matter expert in cross-functional project teams and working groups supporting ongoing business line initiatives as required

  • Provides expert advice and virtual training resources to business line users domestically and internationally to help stakeholders understand key drivers to Return on Risk Weighted Assets (RoRWA) and deal level RoE

  • Manage the testing and promotion of system updates in collaboration with our global technology partners

  • Transform business requirements into effective end-user pricing solutions

  • Develop and document methodologies and standardized practices across all Business Lines and products

  • Maintains CPM informational resources on Scotia Live and promptly communicates significant updates or system downtime to users

  • Supports the ongoing administrative requirements for new and existing users

  • Manages regular ongoing monthly and quarterly model updates


What You’ll Bring:



  • Degree in Finance/Information Technology or MBA

  • Experience in business systems analysis with a keen passion for financial model development

  • Strong knowledge of financial modelling and data analytics tools such as MS Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Python

  • Experience in preparing business requirements documentation

  • Project Management experience would be an asset

  • Knowledge of capital adequacy requirements, Basel guidelines, lending, capital markets, and other banking products would be an asset

  • Proficiency in Spanish would be an asset


Work Arrangement:


This position is currently an onsite role, with the expectation that you will work 4-5 days a week in the office. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
