Litigation Lawyer - Toronto 3-7 Years
High-End Commercial Litigation
Minted Search Group partners with several leading boutique and mid-sized litigation firms in Toronto, each recognized for handling complex, high-stakes commercial disputes across a range of industries. We are currently seeking Litigation Associates (3-7 years) to join these growing practices.
The Role
You'll play a hands-on role across all stages of sophisticated litigation-strategy, drafting, discoveries, motions, hearings, trials, and appeals-working closely with senior counsel in collaborative, high-performance environments.
Practice Areas May Include
- Complex commercial and contractual disputes
- Shareholder and partnership disputes
- Securities litigation and regulatory enforcement
- Fraud, misrepresentation, and asset-tracing claims
- Oppression remedies and corporate governance disputes
- Professional liability and fiduciary duty claims
- Injunctions, Mareva and Norwich orders, and urgent relief
- Domestic and international arbitration
- Insolvency, restructuring, and receivership litigation
- Appeals to the Ontario Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Canada
- Cross-border disputes and jurisdictional challenges
- Class actions and complex multi-party proceedings
What You'll Do
- Lead and support matters from pleadings through appeal
- Draft persuasive memoranda, facta, and court submissions
- Argue motions and attend court
- Manage discovery and work with experts
- Engage directly with clients and prepare matters for trial or arbitration
What You Bring
- 3-7 years of commercial litigation experience
- Strong knowledge of Ontario civil procedure
- Excellent advocacy, research, and drafting skills
- Confidence appearing before the Ontario Superior Court
