<p><b>Title</b>: IT/OT Project Specialist</p><p><b>Location:</b> Downtown Toronto</p><p><b>Hybrid:</b> 3 days onsite</p><p><b>Duration:</b> 6 months</p><p><br></p><p>The IT/OT Project Specialist collaborates with internal business units to translate functional business needs into actionable requirements for IT and OT systems. As a business enabler and service provider, the IT Specialist identifies effective business solutions to support organizational goals and recommends IT/OT solutions and process improvements that enhance efficiency and align with strategic objectives.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Develop business cases for new solutions by analyzing current processes, identifying issues or opportunities, evaluating options to achieve desired outcomes, performing cost-benefit and financial analyses, and providing actionable recommendations.</li><li>Identify and analyze business needs, gather requirements, and define scope and objectives for assigned IT/OT initiatives.</li><li>Drive stakeholder engagement and communication through presentations and reports using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, ensuring clarity, relevance, and appropriate frequency.</li><li>Collaborate with IT portfolio, security, and infrastructure teams to manage non-standard IT requests within an established governance framework.</li><li>Support financial planning and management for IT/OT systems within the capital portfolio.</li><li>Create and maintain documentation and procedures to ensure effective IT systems and processes.</li><li>Assist with regulatory or compliance-related documentation and analysis, participating in relevant meetings and workshops.</li><li>Coordinate and oversee records management programs, providing guidance and support to records coordinators and departmental representatives.</li><li>Perform operational routines associated with the position.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Competencies and Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Post-secondary Degree or Diploma (University or College)</li><li>Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in IT project management, IT governance, or IT strategic planning</li><li>Strong knowledge and experience in identifying business solutions to meet organizational goals</li><li>Experience in internal and/or external consulting, preferably in customer-focused or service-oriented environments</li><li>Proficiency in applying IT/OT solutions to work management and business processes</li><li>Strategic and analytical thinking</li><li>Innovation and creative problem solving</li><li>Results-oriented, accountable, and focused on understanding the problem before implementing solutions</li><li>Ability to build strong relationships and foster collaboration with stakeholders and colleagues</li><li>Experienced in leading change, driving productivity, and developing creative solutions</li></ul><p></p>Create Your Resume First
