What makes this role important at Ipsos?

Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, you will play a key role in two critical areas: Business Partnership and Organizational Development. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with HR programs that shape our culture and drive business success.

As part of our HR team, you will help enable our HR strategy and ensure our programs are purposeful and aligned with business priorities. Working closely with select business lines, you will act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, organizational design, training, and initiatives that enhance employee engagement and support growth.

Location: Hybrid role based out of our Toronto office.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Apply HR Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and providing a solid foundation for people programs.
  • Enhance Employee Experience: Support initiatives such as onboarding, Diversity & Inclusion programs, engagement survey action plans, and employee forums.
  • Drive Communication: Develop and implement creative HR communication strategies and materials that resonate with diverse audiences and align with our culture, D&I priorities, and ERG activities.
  • Support Core HR Programs: Coordinate and deliver key programs including Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, and Training, leveraging Ipsos resources and tailoring to Canadian requirements.
  • Provide Insights: Produce reports and actionable insights for the Head of HR and business leaders. Analyze data to identify opportunities for strategic hiring, performance management, budgeting, diversity, and training initiatives.
  • Embrace Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging HR technologies, including AI and automation tools, and explore ways to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

  • You have been building your HR acumen for the past 4 + years, have a degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • You have worked in teams that designed, developed, and delivered HR solutions, showing your curiosity program management skills.
  • You are a self-starter and a team player.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Power Point
  • French speaking is a plus but not required.

In accordance with Ontario & British Columbia law, the estimated base salary for this role is $85,000 to $90,000 CAD. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
