<p> Job Highlights</p><ul><li>Title<br> : Experienced Fire Alarm Technician</li><li>Location<br> : Dartmouth, NS (Canada)</li><li>Pay Range<br> : $22.60 – $28.36/hr (based on experience, education, skills, etc.)</li><li>Benefits<br> : Paid vacation/holidays, medical/dental/vision from day one, retirement plan, employee discounts, company vehicle/tools, training & growth opportunities.</li></ul><p> What You'll Do</p><ul><li>Lead<br> inspection, service, repair, and installation<br> of Fire Alarm Systems.</li><li>Work with<br> Simplex and other multi-vendor fire alarm products<br> .</li><li>Provide<br> technical support & training<br> to junior technicians.</li><li>Program, inspect, and verify complex systems (custom voice messaging, smoke control, network audio switching, TSW programming).</li><li>Deliver<br> inspection reports & documentation<br> to clients.</li><li>Ensure<br> timely completion of jobs<br> and high-level customer service.</li></ul><p> Requirements</p><p>Must-Haves</p><ul><li>5+ years' experience in<br> low-voltage electrical systems<br> (Fire/Life Safety systems).</li><li>CFAA Certification<br> (Canadian Fire Alarm Association).</li><li>Technical training (e.g., Electronics Technologist or equivalent).</li><li>Valid driver's license.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.</li><li>Ability to work at heights (ladders, lifts, scaffolding, ceilings, crawl spaces).</li><li>Physically able to lift/move 50 lbs.</li><li>Willingness to work<br> flexible hours, on-call shifts, and travel when needed<br> .</li></ul><p>Nice-to-Haves</p><ul><li>Strong organizational & customer service skills.</li><li>Experience reading blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.</li><li>Experience writing clear inspection/verification reports.</li><li>Self-starter, able to work independently.</li></ul>
