Your Role:
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with ESA Regulation 22/04 and internal procedures.
- Conduct safety meetings, onsite inspections, and incident investigations; recommend corrective actions.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate hazardous conditions.
- Plan and schedule overhead and underground construction and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate emergency repairs and system restorations.
- Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are met.
- Review and interpret electrical drawings and designs.
- Support design team with field interpretations and billing.
- Mentor design team members. Maintain positive customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Inspect materials, workmanship, and safety practices for compliance with standards.
- Issue deficiency notices and ensure corrective actions.
- Validate completion packages including as-builts, documentation, and material returns.
- Collaborate with design teams during planning and construction phases.
Minimum Qualifications
- Red Seal Power Line Technician certification.
- Supervisory experience in a utility environment
- Knowledge of Toronto Hydro distribution systems (13.8kV, 27.6kV, 4kV, Network & Box Systems).
- Familiarity with Utility Work Protection Code (UWPC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Occupational Health & Safety Certification.
- Valid driver's licence.
