We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled EPBCS Consultant. This role is crucial for designing, implementing, and supporting Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) solutions for our diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical foundation in EPBCS, combined with a strong understanding of core financial processes and an emerging interest in applying advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement comprehensive Oracle EPBCS solutions, including business rules, calculations, forms, reports, and security.
- Lead client discussions to gather requirements and translate business needs for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting into effective EPBCS models.
- Develop and maintain complex Groovy business rules to enhance application functionality and automate planning processes.
- Manage data integrations using tools such as FDMEE and Data Management.
- Utilize and maintain automation scripts using EPM Automate for routine tasks and scheduled processes.
- Collaborate with financial stakeholders and IT teams to ensure successful solution deployment and user adoption.
- Stay current with emerging features in EPBCS and explore the application of AI/ML concepts to enhance predictive planning and analytics within the EPM environment.
- Provide post-implementation support and user training.
Required Qualifications
- 6–8 years of dedicated, hands-on experience with EPBCS (Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service).
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes (e.g., driver-based planning, zero-based budgeting, rolling forecasts).
- High proficiency in developing and maintaining business rules using Groovy scripting.
- Extensive experience with EPM integration tools, including FDMEE and Data Management.
- Experience with EPM Automate for managing, migrating, and automating EPBCS administrative tasks.
- Familiarity with foundational AI/ML concepts and a demonstrated ability to apply these in practical ways for predictive planning and advanced analytics is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
