Job Description

Let's reimagine access to Canadian education, together.

Boreal Education is an EdTech company that empowers Canadian post-secondary institutions to grow and develop quality distance, hybrid and online education programs.

The opportunity:

The Associate Director, Enrolment and Student Success will lead Boreal teams to deliver high-quality, consistent, and scalable learner experiences across the full learner journey. This role is for a people leader who raises the bar through coaching, performance management, and operational oversight, while building the structure to scale.

You will be accountable for leading and running the teams, including day-to-day management, hiring and onboarding, and setting a consistent operating cadence that sustains exceptional service quality and performance. As we continue to grow our partner portfolio and program offerings, you will drive continuous improvement across processes and metrics to strengthen outcomes for learners and institutional partners.

You will make an impact by:

  • Set clear expectations and elevate performance through coaching, feedback, and accountability.
  • Build team capacity through thoughtful hiring, onboarding, and capability development.
  • Provide operational leadership across the learner journey to deliver a consistent, high-quality experience at scale.
  • Establish scalable workflows and standards that support growth while maintaining service excellence.
  • Drive performance using data, prioritization, and continuous improvement across the funnel and student journey.
  • Ensure quality and resilience through strong controls, documentation, and risk management.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in enrolment/admissions, customer success, sales, or a related function.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, developing talent, and performance management.
  • A track record of building scalable team rhythms and driving measurable improvements in outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with CRM and lifecycle data to inform priorities and decisions.
  • Clear, stakeholder-ready communication and the ability to create alignment in fast-changing environments.
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada.

This role is a strong fit if:

  • You build trust quickly, coach effectively, and raise the bar through talent development.
  • You create clarity and structure that enables teams to move fast and execute consistently.
  • You use data to prioritize, solve problems, and drive sustained performance improvement.
  • You're outcomes-driven and motivated by improving the student experience at scale.
