<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: <br /><p>Responsibility Description</p><p>Job Title:</p><p>Youth Pastor</p><p>Purpose Statement:</p><p>To lead and oversee the Youth Ministry (Jr. High & Sr. High) within OneChurch.to, ensuring that it is a dynamic, engaging, and spiritually enriching environment where students encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and develop meaningful connections within their church community.</p><p><br /></p><p>To lead the gathered expression of our community through art-filled, passionate, momentum-building corporate spiritual practices and timeless sacraments that help us to actively learn to live like Jesus. To release an ever-expanding group of individuals in the areas of music</p><p>Reports to:</p><p>NextGen Team Lead - Stephanie Joneslee</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>Leadership & Oversight of Youth (90% of time)</p><ul><li>Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the entire Youth Ministry, including both Jr. High and Sr. High programs.</li><li>Operate with an equipping-first mentality by recruiting, training, scheduling, and deploying Youth Ministry volunteers who:<ul><li>Are well connected to each other, the NextGen team, and the church.</li><li>Champion OneChurch.tos mission (Know, Love, Impact) and key ministry focuses (Alpha, Groups, LoveArmy, 5 Bold Moves, Stackable, etc.).</li><li>Are developed and empowered as key volunteer leaders to expand the reach and impact of the Youth Ministry.</li></ul></li><li>Co-create the vision and direction for Youth Ministry with the NextGen Team Lead.</li><li>Provide care and pastoral support for all youth (grades 6-12) and their families.</li><li>Own and manage the Youth Ministry budget, ensuring responsible stewardship of resources.</li><li>Plan, oversee, and execute all Youth Ministry events, including retreats, camps, service projects, and outreach initiatives.</li><li>Lead and implement the Youth Follow Plan to foster faith development and engagement.</li><li>Develop and lead a unified Youth Leadership Team that is connected to the NextGen Ministry as a whole.</li><li>Plan and execute YouthX Nights and other NextGen-wide initiatives in collaboration with NextGen staff.</li><li>Implement shared vision and strategies to ensure growth, sustainability, and stackability of all NextGen ministries, events, and activities.</li><li>Oversee Youth Ministry social media content and engagement strategies alongside the Digital team</li><li>Develop creative digital environments to connect youth and caregivers to the church in both physical and online spaces.</li><li>Anything else assigned from time to time by the Lead Pastor or NextGen Team Lead</li></ul><p>NextGen Team Responsibilities (10% of time)</p><ul><li>Support transition strategies for Kids moving into Jr. High and Sr. High students moving into Young Adults.</li><li>Assist in the development of bridge events or initiatives to ease transition points between ministries.</li><li>Provide occasional support to Kids and Young Adults teams for strategic transition moments.</li><li>Assist the NextGen Team Lead with strategic planning, goal setting, and execution of broader NextGen ministry initiatives.</li></ul><p>Work Schedule:</p><p>40 hours per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday)</p></p></p>
