The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.</p><h3><b>Position Overview</b></h3><h3><b>Experience</b></h3><ul><li>Minimum of 2 years related experience, is required, preferably in a substance use and/or mental health treatment setting.</li><li>Crisis response experience is also desirable.</li><li>Knowledge and experience in the areas of adolescence, at risk youth (i.e., FASD; ADHD; etc.,), addictions and mental health.</li></ul><h3><b>Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)</b></h3><ul><li>Complete high school education, Manitoba Standards, required.</li><li>Completion of the Child & Youth Care Certificate program or training in the social sciences is desirable, other combination of education and experience may be considered.</li></ul><h3><b>Certification/Licensure/Registration</b></h3><ul><li>Nonviolent Crisis Intervention and ASSIST training is desirable.</li><li>A valid Class 5 driver’s license and suitable driving record.</li><li>Current First Aid/CPR certification are required.</li></ul><h3><b>Qualifications and Skills</b></h3><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to work well within an inter-disciplinary team; and an understanding of, and sensitivity to, working with culturally diverse populations.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Strong organizational skills.</li><li>The ability to operate Microsoft software applications, internet and email communications is required.</li><li>Fluency in English (French/Indigenous languages - verbal and written an asset).</li><li>Knowledge of Indigenous customs, traditions, and beliefs will be considered an asset.</li></ul><h3><b>Physical Requirements</b></h3><ul><li>Availability for shift work.</li></ul><p><b>NOTE</b>: Full-time positions involve a 4 on, 4 off shift rotation (two 7 AM - 7 PM, two 7 PM - 7 AM, 4 off).</p><p>We have a unique ability to work together to make health care better.
