<p><strong>Welders NEEDED: TIG!!</strong><br>

Our well-known manufacturing client just 20 minutes north of Barrie is looking for talented welders who have experience in <strong>TIG </strong>welding with <strong>pressure vessels</strong> and/or from the <strong>oil and gas industry</strong>.  If this is you, then look no further and read on! <br>

<strong>The Role:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Successfully complete practical 7018 Stick Electrode Test (7018/Carbon Steel Plate) as per SOP.
<li>Demonstrate the ability to weld common alloys.
<li>Correctly restamp identifications onto castings as required (number, letters). <li>Successfully complete KHR 45A and KHR 35CL Qualification Plates as required by TSSA for welding on specified base alloys.
<li>Identify and follow weld procedures correctly.
<li>Safely set up relevant welding equipment.
<li>Safely operate hand tools, including electric or pneumatic tools.
<li>Grind and clean castings as required after welding operations.
<li>Maintain attendance and schedule adherence as per standards.
<li>Set up all hand-grinders correctly and demonstrate correct grinding practices.
<li>Utilize LN software specific to job function as required.
<li>Use dial calipers correctly to record defects on Travelers.
<li>Conduct LPI spot-checks on castings as per SOP.
</ul>

<p><strong>You Bring:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li><u>Minimum of 2 years’ experience in TIG welding with pressure vessels </u>
<li>Course in SMAW, GTWA, and MIG welding, including Oxy-acetylene.
<li>CWB certification or weld Tickets are considered an asset.
<li>oil and gas industry welding experience is an asset
