Under the responsibility of the Logistics Supervisor, the Warehouse Worker (Material Handler)performs warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting.

Hourly Rate: $24 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm

  • Responsibilities

  • Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting

  • Be responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks

  • Must be able to deal with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading,

  • Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract

  • Other related duties as assigned

  • Requirements:

  • Due to federal regulations:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident.

  • Candidate must be able to provide birth certificate and passport as identification.

  • Candidate must have a valid Ontario driver’s license and be able to provide utility bills showing current address.

  • Candidate must be able to pass RCMP fingerprint background check.

  • Candidate must have good command over the English language.

  • Other Requirements

  • Candidate must have a good command of English.

  • . diploma/GED preferred.

  • One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred

  • Valid Forklift Operator’s License certified Preferred

  • Experience with automated pick and pack systems

  • Familiarization with automated warehouse management system is an asset (PKMS)

  • Experience with an RF scanner

  • Experience with MS Office

  • Good communication skills

  • Able to Lift and/or push/pull up to thirty-five (35) pounds

  • Able to stand for long periods of time

  • Be a team player and work within a diverse work environment.

  • Can Work by using health and safety methods

  • Punctuality and good attendance record

  • Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.
