Oxford Builders Supplies Inc. is expanding in Ottawa and is currently seeking a motivated team member to support our Warehouse located in Ottawa, ON.
As a Warehouse Worker you will:
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, packaging area, and workstations organized. Precisely prepare order requests through inventory management system. Accurately processes orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule. Complete deliveries by driving truck or van to and from Construction Sites and Vendors. Maintain Delivery Vehicles by completing daily inspection logs, preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for services and/or repairs when required. Implements inventory controls by collecting stock location and printing order requests. Completes internal reports by entering required information. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Is this role right for you?
You have a High school diploma, GED or equivalent You have a full G driver’s license with a clean Drivers Abstract (AZ license considered an asset). A valid forklift license considered an asset but will provide training to the right team member. Experience as a Warehouse Worker is considered an asset. You are a team-oriented individual with strong organizational skills You are proficient in inventory software, databases and systems. You are familiar with modern warehousing practices and methods. You are able to lift heavy objects (25kgs). You are able to work in a fast-paced environment including outdoors during inclement weather when required.
