Warehouse Technician - Driver

Location: Edmonton, AB

Our client is a specialized manufacturer of industrial equipment and components for the power generation and industrial process industries.

Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Technician - Driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations, responsible for a variety of warehousing and driving duties. Your primary focus will be to ensure the efficient and safe movement of materials and products within our facility, as well as occasional local deliveries.

 Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials and products.
  • Pick, pack, and load outgoing shipments for delivery.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on warehouse equipment.
  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counting.
  • Deliver local shipments to customers or other company locations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.


Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.


Environment:
This position involves working in an industrial manufacturing environment. You will be required to stand for long periods, lift and move heavy materials, and operate various warehouse equipment. The work schedule may include some evening and weekend shifts to accommodate production needs.
