Overview of the Position

As a Distribution Team Member, you will perform diversified receiving, sorting, picking, staging, value add and distribution duties supporting the operational needs of an integrated Distribution Center.

We are currently accepting applications for the following shift times:

  • Afternoon Shift – Monday to Friday 4:00pm to 12:30am (note: this shift is eligible for a shift premium)

Key Accountabilities

  • Meets established receiving / distribution standards of operation
  • Performs receiving duties including, but not limited to:
    • Verifying accuracy of warehouse deliveries and inspecting items for damage or defects. Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
    • Entering information using RF guns and computer system and/or completing appropriate paperwork
    • Unloading inbound trailers, building pallets, sorting and unpacking items
    • Transporting, locating and putting items in appropriate warehouse location
  • Performs distribution duties including, but not limited to:
    • Filling pick order requests for warehouse items.
    • Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
    • Loading requisitioned items into outbound trailers for transport to various locations.
    • Entering information using RF guns and computer system and/or completing appropriate paperwork
  • Learns and utilizes functions of the RF Guns and Warehouse Management Software.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment
  • Maintains a flexible schedule and works in all areas of distribution as required.
  • Complies with all health and safety programs, policies and practices
  • Adheres to all company policies
  • Maintains quality service by following organizational standards.

Qualifications for all positions:

  • Previous related experience preferred
  • Strong reading and math skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of supply chain and flow of goods
  • Willingness to train and operate motorized and manual material handling equipment
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift 50lbs on a repetitive basis
