We value and prioritize customer centricity, innovation, teamwork and respect in our workplace.</p><p>If these values resonate with you, keep reading</p><p>About the Role:</p><p>As a Warehouse Team Lead - Receiving, whose primary focus will be leading all receiving and inventory management duties, you will partner directly with the Warehouse Manager to coordinate all daily workflow and ensure seamless operations with the warehouse. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll assist in coaching and developing staff, promoting a high morale team, and ensuring a safe, process driven culture that adheres to all Ontario health and safety regulations. You will take the lead on daily receiving duties and maintain the accuracy of all inventory records, playing a vital part in our success.</p><p>This role will report directly to the Warehouse Manager.</p><p>Work Location: On Site Pacific Circle, Mississauga</p><p>Hours are between: Monday to Saturday.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Lead all receiving and inventory management duties. This includes offloading freight trucks, examining and documenting incoming shipments, rejecting damaged items, and reporting any discrepancies to the Manager or Operations Team. You'll also be responsible for managing the inventory putaway flow, handling returns, and maintaining accurate inventory records through physical counts and system adjustments.</li><li>Partner with the Warehouse Manager to oversee all floor operations. This includes directing warehouse team members, the ability to flex manpower based on business need, and the ability to maintain consistent workflow in all areas to meet customer service levels.</li><li>Champion a safe, efficient, and clean work environment. You will offer guidance and training on safety policies and lean practices. This includes actively maintaining a safe and clean work environment by enforcing 5S principles, keeping all areas neat, actively participating in Joint Health & Safety meetings, and participating in accident investigations.</li><li>Maintain general warehouse operations. This includes ensuring work areas are kept neat and organized, documenting maintenance and supply levels for tools, and being ready to assist with any general warehouse tasks as needed.</li></ul><p>Responsibilities include other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.</p><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Experience: 5+ years of operations/distribution or similar experience, with at least 3 years in receiving and 2+ years in a leadership role.</li><li>Skills: Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills. Strong time management and priority setting abilities.</li><li>Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with navigating technology and new platforms. Proficient in Microsoft Excel</li><li>Warehouse Tools: Intermediate experience with Radio Frequency (RF) scanners, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is preferred.
