About the role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Warehouse Clerk. This role is responsible for performing day to day warehouse functions, including shipping and receiving products, checking incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying quantities, and entering shipping and receiving data into the system. This position reports to the Warehouse Leader.

What will your job look like?

• Ensure accurate and timely shipping and receiving of products
• Ensure all products are accounted for and placed in their proper locations
• Handle warehouse transfers in a timely manner
• Prepare and execute all international shipments, ensuring accurate paperwork and adherence to procedures
• Operate mobile equipment as required and perform necessary maintenance
• Process product returns to vendors
• Maintain accurate records of inventory counts and disposals
• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures, and report unsafe activities to the supervisor and or Human Resources
• Maintain the work area, equipment, and warehouse in a clean and orderly condition
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Availability to work a full time position of 40 hours per week
• Two or more years of related experience, preferably in a small team environment
• Ability to write business correspondence and summary reports, and to effectively present information and respond to questions
• Proficient PC skills, including email, recordkeeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to work in a warehouse setting as well as at a desk and computer
• Willingness to work alternate hours and or holidays when required
• Ability to perform intermittent strenuous physical activity related to warehouse shipping and receiving, including lifting up to 50 lbs
