Warehouse Person (Part-Time)

Responsibilities

Ideal candidate will be required to perform varied duties as assigned and may include, but not limited to

• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times
• Receiving of equipment from airlines, and reconcile with the packing slip, and the “Bill of Lading”
• Update mapping of warehouse as needed
• Load and unload shipment of products from containers
• Ensure all equipment is dispatched and issued in compliance with Company policy and customs regulations
• Conduct quality and quantity checks on all equipment. Report any defects on equipment to the Food and Equipment Warehousing Supervisor.
• Rotate stock as needed and check expiry dates
• Assist Customer Service Supervisors to conduct inventory count
• Compile inventory product replenishment lists as needed
• Ensure requisition sheets are filled and completed when given
• Control access of employees entering and exiting the bonded warehouse
• All other duties assigned

Skills & Qualifications

• Mandatory Reach Truck License – company will provide training via third party training school
• Electrical pump truck license is an asset
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to work at a height and climb ladders
• Must be able to multi task
• Ability to read and write in English and basic mathematic skills, and excel skills are an asset
• Effective problem solving skills
• Must have excellent interpersonal, communication skills.
• Must have a positive demeanor and be a team player

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.62 per hour

• Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Canadian Citizen or Work Permit (required)
