The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the smooth, efficient, and safe functioning of the warehouse and inventory management at the Mississauga location. Reporting directly to the President, this role involves managing day-to-day operations, including team management, order management, warehouse security, receiving, inventory, transportation, and maintaining a safe work environment.
The manager will also collaborate with the President on strategic initiatives, process improvements, operational performance analysis, staffing, and productivity enhancements. Key duties include setting up warehouse layouts, ensuring efficient space utilization, developing warehouse operations systems, and training and managing the warehouse team.
The role requires a post secondary degree in logistics, industrial engineering, or operations management, with a preference for candidates with PMP certification and SCM training. Additionally, the candidate should have a minimum of five years of managerial or supervisory experience in warehouse operations and strong knowledge of logistics technology platforms.
