Warehouse Helper – Toronto Event Rentals

Toronto Event Rentals is a leading provider of décor equipment for corporate events, schools, banks, and brand activations. We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Helper to join our team for a short-term contract (2 weeks), with the potential for extension based on workload.



Position Details:

Duration: 2 weeks (with potential extension)
Location: South Etobicoke (near Bloor and Islington)
Working Hours: Full-time (varied hours; predominantly daytime shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, but occasional night shifts may be required)
Compensation: $20 per hour (paid weekly, cash)


Key Responsibilities:

– Assist with unloading and loading trucks for event setups and takedowns.
– Help organize and store décor items and equipment on shelves and racks.
– Perform general warehouse cleaning and maintain organization within the warehouse.
– Assist with testing, cleaning, and prepping décor items before transportation to events.
– Ensure proper packing and handling of décor items to prevent damage.
– Support the team in preparing and assembling event décor as required.
– Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.



Requirements:

Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
Prior warehouse or event-related experience is an asset, but not required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible to work day and night shifts as required.
