Apex Systems is hiring a Supply Chain/Warehouse Management Business Analyst to work for one of their major retail clients in the Mississauga, ON area. If interested, email your updated resume to mmuscat@apexsystems.com

Client: Major international retailer

Duration: 6 month contract – likely to extend up to 1+ year

Location: Hybrid – 3 days on-site @ Mississauga, ON L5N 1P9



Pay: $40-45/hr. T4



$50-55/hr. INC

Key Responsibilities:


  • Requirement Gathering: Actively participate in the requirements gathering process from project inception.
  • Agile Methodology: Demonstrate a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and their application in project management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements.
  • Design Support: Provide support for design changes and ensure that requirements are accurately reflected in the technical implementation.
  • Quality Assurance Support: Assist in onboarding quality assurance engineers by providing clear explanations of requirements and working closely with them to develop effective test cases.
  • Go-Live Support: Be on-site to provide training and support to team members during project implementation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with teams across the organization to achieve project objectives.
  • Travel: Be prepared to travel as needed. Flexibility in travel arrangements is appreciated.

Key Qualifications:


  • 5+ years experience in a BA role
  • WMS Systems: Proficiency in at least one major Warehouse Management System (WMS) like Manhattan, JDA, SAP.
  • Database Management: Strong SQL skills for data querying, analysis, and reporting.
  • Software Tools: Familiarity with project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Supply Chain Processes: In-depth understanding of supply chain concepts, including replenishment, transportation, and inventory management.
  • Agile/ Waterfall Methodology: Experience working in Agile and waterfall environments and knowledge of principles and practices.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex supply chain issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

Interview Process: There will be 2 rounds of interviews, first round will be a written test, second interview will be a virtual zoom.
