As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing products within the warehouse. You will ensure accurate inventory management and timely order fulfillment. Your role will involve physical activity and attention to detail. This is a fixed-term, 3-month contract opportunity.
Starting base pay of $20.00 per hour.
Responsibilities include:
- Receiving & Inventory Management: Receive products from suppliers, retail returns, etc. Check received materials against documents to verify quantity and accuracy. Put received stock away in the appropriate locations. Perform annual physical inventory and regular cycle counts as needed.
- Order Fulfillment & Shipping: Verify picked orders for accuracy before packing. Pick and pack orders based on daily order pick lists. Scan barcodes for order updates and invoicing. Process shipments using the freight manifest program, ensuring correct shipping details.
- Warehouse Organization & Safety: Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Report any injuries or safety concerns immediately. Maintain and request shipping supplies as needed.
- Communication: Communicate with head office and warehouse leadership team. Complete daily productivity reports and submit any outstanding picking documents.
Working Conditions:
Average of 37.5 or more hours per week. Must maintain open availability to meet business needs and may be required to work more than 37.5 hours a week, including weekends and holidays.
Work involves moderate physical effort, with significant walking and standing required for the majority of each shift. The position requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and holding boxes (up to 35 lbs and above with appropriate support). Significant focus is required when completing paperwork.

Professional requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college education is a plus.
- Previous experience in warehouse and shipping/receiving.
- Familiarity with AS 400 is a plus.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of RF guns with the ability to scan inbound and outbound materials.
- Able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.
