Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Candidates will be working in the warehouse as a “DC3” – Order Picker. Their responsibilities include replenishing stock, put-aways, load and offload trucks, receive and sort products, and operate cherry picker, walkie, or reach forklifts. This role requires lifting up to 50lbs multiple times per hour, but workers are encouraged to ask for help if something is too heavy.

Applicants must be comfortable lifting up to 50lbs and must not expect to be on the forklift the entire shift. This is NOT a forklift-only role.

Hard Skills

• 1+ years of experience with forklifts AND Reach
• Fall safety certification (externally licensed)
• 1+ years working in a warehouse
• Understanding of distribution, warehouse management systems, and inbound and outbound procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively

Soft Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in teams
• Ability to take feedback and apply it

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Caledon, Ontario.

Work Environment

Brand new 500,000 sqft facility with a workspace of about 300,000 sqft. Clean work environment with a large cafeteria. Note that it can be loud in certain departments.
