Full job description

Nella Toronto is looking to hire an energetic Warehouse helper to ensure accurate and timely delivery of our products. This individual is an integral part of our warehouse environment.

Antonio Nella took a life-changing decision in 1950, relocating his young family from Carisolo, Italy to Canada in search of a better life. He did various jobs in Toronto until he could send his family to join him. Fortunately, Antonio’s brother-in-law had immigrated to Buffalo a few years prior and was able to assist Antonio in getting started in the business by providing him with a truck equipped with a knife sharpener. This was the beginning of what would become Nella Cutlery, a leading sales and service firm for all types of cutlery and food machinery with sites across Canada.

Nella’s customers used to pay to rent knives, which they exchanged every week or month for newly sharpened knives. With the purchase of additional trucks, a permanent facility, and eventually the creation of a custom line of knives and diversification of its product offering, the firm grew over time. Nella leases and sells knives, deli slicers, cheese graters, pasta machines, and other kitchen equipment to grocery stores, restaurants, schools, cafeterias, and hospitals today. The business sells to both wholesalers and customers, as well as repairing and supplies parts when necessary.
