Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the prompt and accurate assembly of customer orders. They will also will ship, receive, and record the movement of supplies, materials, equipment, and stock received or shipped from Reunion Coffee Roasters. This person will be required to follow all safe work policies and procedures and work to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.

On a practical level, you will:

  • Safely and accurately assemble shipments for LTL shipments to customers
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as product, size, origin, code, etc.
  • Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employee traffic
  • Weigh and count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards
  • Organize the warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
  • Wear proper safety equipment as outlined in the employee handbook
  • Oversee and participate in the shipping, receiving, organizing, storing, and issuing of goods including supplies and equipment for the purpose of ensuring shipments are prepared for delivery and delivered in a timely manner
  • Keep the warehouse clean for the purpose of maintaining a safe and sanitary work area
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping abiding by the C.L.E.A.N. program
  • Be responsible for reporting food safety problems and/or quality concerns to personnel with the authority to initiate action
  • Load and unload delivery trucks for the purpose of receiving stock and/or filling orders for transport
  • Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas

If you have the following qualifications, we want to hear from you:

  • Reach truck (Raymond, Crown) experience required, valid certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience, including basic knowledge of shipping/receiving, order picking and handling materials
  • Ability to lift 30lbs frequently
  • Ability to perform some heavy lifting (50lbs up to 100 lbs)
