Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Warehouse Manager to join our team.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing 10,000 square foot warehouse space primarily used for tooling/spare part storage, safety/material supply and occasional cross docking
  • Maintain control over inventory levels in warehouse to meet internal and external demand of product
  • Maintain warehouse housekeeping and forklift general safety
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
  • Receive incoming freight deliveries and schedule daily outgoing truck deliveries
  • Ensuring all tools are certified as required, ordering new tools and kits as needed
  • Manage incoming and outgoing hydraulic oil and ensure that oil waste containment process adhered to
  • Communicate internally with salaried team (GM, operations manager, service/repair supervisor, construction superintendent) and field employees (maintenance, repair, construction)
  • Support in ordering parts, material, safety gear, and uniforms through vendors (request purchase orders, receive invoices and pay for completed service)
  • Creating Purchase Orders and assembling documentation for New Construction & Modernization Projects.
Education / Certifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certificate/diploma in warehousing/logistics is considered a plus
Basic Qualifications
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain a clean/safe warehouse environment
  • Strong verbal communication skills to effectively develop relationships with internal and external customers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid forklift license preferred
  • JD Edwards (JDE) knowledge is considered a plus
