Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving. This position requires physical stamina and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for handling inventory and maintaining an organized workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Perform order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed correctly.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or order pickers safely and effectively.
  • Load and unload products from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and updates in the AS400 system.
  • Assist in warehouse distribution tasks, ensuring timely delivery of products to designated areas.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and shipping/receiving procedures is a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the role.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management systems like AS400 are desirable.
  • A commitment to safety practices and teamwork within the warehouse setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

  • Overtime pay

  • French not required

  • Every Weekend

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • warehouse: 2 years (preferred)
