Full job description

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Coordinate effective cross-docking of orders and ensure efficient delivery, while reporting any issues and enabling on-time delivery.
  • Effectively resolve shipment errors, and provide status updates to Logistics, CSRs and the Sales Team.
  • Ensure that area audits are completed.
  • Maintenance of area and proposals for continuous improvement of shipping function/layout.
  • Provide information to customers and/or CSRs on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with CWS for solving inquiries and fast track orders.
  • Coordinate and support other functions of the DC to ensure business continuity.
  • Comply with all health and safety practices and policies.
  • Occasional overtime to meet business demands.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO OUR TEAM:

  • 1 year customer service and or warehouse experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math and effective problem-solving/analytical skills
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Previous experience with Material Handling Equipment (e.g., reach truck, walkie, counterbalance) and RF gun is an asset; having a valid license for equipment requiring certification (e.g., forklift) is also an asset
  • Intermediate computer literacy
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite or other WMS
  • Working knowledge of TMS
