Walkie operators/ Loaders *Night shift*

CAREER OPPORTUNITY: Full time Warehouse Loaders. Permanent/long term (Walkie Operator)

Sun to Thurs – 9 pm to 5:30 am

Location: Britannia and Kennedy- Mississauga, ON

Reporting to: Supervisor

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Lift totes and boxes of various grocery items on and off a conveyor system and stacking these totes on sets of wheelies and/or racks
• Loading and unloading Grocery Gateway vehicles
• Continuously lifting up to 50lbs
• Shuttling of trucks on and off the dock may be required
• End of day general cleaning duties in order to maintain cleanliness of dock area
• Technical ability to learn simple in-house software
• Walkie and Counter balance experience
• In and out working in cooler/freezer area
• Other duties as required

Educational /Technical Experience:

• Walkie and Counter Balance experience and License required
• Working experience in Shipping and Receiving role preferred.
• Able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Skill and Knowledge Requirements:

• Knowledgeable of safe lifting methods.
• Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
• Attention to detail in all areas of work.
• Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
• Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. may be required.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Night shift

• Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
