Job Title: Walkie Operator 

Location: Brampton, ON (Steeles & Winston Churchill)

Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Position Type: Full-time

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Walkie Operator to join our team in Brampton! This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment and are looking for a stable, full-time role. This position is in a livestock warehouse, but please note that you will not be working directly with livestock.

As a Walkie Operator, your main responsibility will be to safely operate a walkie rider to transport goods within the warehouse, ensuring efficient flow of materials and a clean, organized work environment. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are strictly followed to ensure the highest quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a walkie rider to move goods within the warehouse.
• Load and unload merchandise from trucks or storage areas.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and deliveries.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Ensure products are safely transported and stored in the correct areas.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating a walkie rider is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must have reliable transportation to the work site.
• CSA-approved safety shoes are required.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and company policies, including GMP.
• Willingness to work in a livestock warehouse environment (without direct interaction with the livestock).

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday – 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Shift)
