Do you thrive on hitting targets and building relationships? We’re seeking a results‐oriented Territory Sales Representative to join one of Canada’s fastest‐growing companies. You’ll win new business and grow existing accounts by introducing new products, expanding categories, and implementing programs in the B2B building supply space. We have two openings:

• Territory Sales Representative – Southwestern Ontario
• Territory Sales Representative – North Central Ontario

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire, manage, and grow customers in the building supply industry
  • Provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
  • Conduct market research, setup target goals, and establish detailed plans to secure and grow existing customers with trackable measures in terms of business annual increases and profitability.
  • Identify opportunities for future businesses, Create and execute specific strategic plan and to implement, to gain more businesses of new customers and commodities with remarkable revenue and profitability.
  • Set specific targets to increase sales by certain percentages which would contribute to the growth of the company.
  • Visit local customers daily, understand customer needs, keep good contacts, communications, and healthy and good relationships with customers.
  • Provide market insights and feedback on the industry on weekly basis.
  • Analyze and report forecasts on monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Reach out to customers when needed, expedite actions and resolutions to customers when problems or complaints arise to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Provide communications on follow ups and identify opportunities and challenges with management.
  • Create feedback and reporting structure so reflect successes and challenges.
  • Meet targets set by management to hit milestones and bonuses.
  • Attend and participate industry tradeshows and events.
  • Coordinate meetings, visits, and other key meeting with senior management on main and specific target accounts.
  • Must attend weekly meetings one day per week in head office.

Territory:

  • Area of coverage: South Western Ontario (Specific area of coverage is available upon request)

Qualifications:

  • Min 2 years experiences in dealer sales as a outside territory sales representative, preferably in the building supply industry
  • Strong passion for sales, and willingness to learn and advance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Majority of the time will be spent on the road visiting customers. (require to be in the office once per week)
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office software such as excel, PowerPoint, outlook, teams etc., and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to analyze people and situation.
  • Organized, dependable, honest, and great team player in a target driven environment.
  • Outside of the box thinker with the ability to quickly adapt to various situations.
