<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>Territory Sales Manager, Siding & Trim - Woodbridge, ON (Western Canada) at Westlake Building Products. The Territory Manager will play the lead role and take ownership of the business development activity for Westlake Building Products within Western Canada. The candidate will identify strategic growth opportunities within the region and capture new business that enhances our competitive advantage and adheres to the goals and values maintained by Westlake Royal Building Products.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Conduct safe and effective product knowledge training sessions in environments ranging from jobsites to boardrooms</li><li>Motivate others and demonstrate confidence in yourself and the products you represent</li><li>Work with trades, remodelers, distribution, home builders, architects, designers, and other industry influencers</li><li>Identify qualified conversion targets and execute effective sales strategies</li><li>Communicate effectively in requests, commitments, emails, voicemails, deadlines, presentations and reports</li><li>Commit to 20%-30% overnight travel</li><li>Participate in formal competitive product reviews semi-annually for each brand managed</li><li>Assist with warranty claims as related to warranty department requests</li><li>Submit a monthly highlight report summarizing travel highlights, customer feedback, competitive field issues, internal issues, opportunities, and success stories</li><li>Conduct interactive guided plant tours on an approved value-added basis</li><li>Coordinate with other WRBP employees to avoid conflicts of interest and help achieve collective goals</li><li>Reach and exceed sales targets</li><li>Participate in national, regional, and local distributor trade shows, contractor days, festival events and other requested activities; occasional events outside a typical work week (2-3 times per year)</li></ul><h3>Education, Skills, Experience And Certifications</h3><ul><li>University or College graduate preferred</li><li>Minimum of five years’ experience in the building/construction industry</li><li>Exceptional sales competencies</li><li>Strong business acumen</li><li>Effective communication and presentation skills</li><li>Creative problem-solving skills</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel</li><li>Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team</li><li>Fluent in English</li><li>Position is home-based; candidate must live within reasonable driving distance to an international airport</li><li>Ideal candidate would reside in Western Canada</li></ul><h3>Additional Details</h3><ul><li>Seniority level: Mid-Senior level</li><li>Employment type: Full-time</li><li>Job function: Sales and Business Development</li><li>Industries: Chemical Manufacturing</li></ul></p>
