Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook & Team members to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while adhering to food safety standards.

Team Member Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a friendly and positive experience for all guests.
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, both in-store and at the drive-thru.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the dining room, kitchen, and restrooms.
  • Assist with food preparation, including assembling orders and ensuring food quality standards.
  • Handle cash and process transactions accurately using the POS system.
  • Support fellow team members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and company policies at all times.

Cook Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food items according to Mary Brown’s recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and preparation of all food to meet food safety regulations.
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, and ovens safely and effectively.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ensuring all ingredients are stocked and fresh.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, following proper sanitation procedures.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure timely and efficient food preparation during peak hours.
  • Assist with menu planning and suggest improvements to enhance the kitchen’s workflow.

Experience

  • Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling techniques and safety protocols is essential.
  • Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
