Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and secure operations, in accordance with the health, safety, security and all government statutory requirements.
- Communicate with customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide accurate information to Management and Cargo Movement Control.
- Maintain and enforce company procedures relating to the workplace (attendance, uniforms, equipment operation, safety).
- Delegate responsibilities of Ramp activities & oversee performance and productivity.
- Ability to collaborate with peers, internal partners and external customers to offer them an excellent customer service journey.
- Provide direction to Ramp staff in order to maintain on-time performance of all flight and truck departures.
- Create a positive customer experience while meeting Customer and company standards pertaining to quality of work performance.
- Provide leadership, motivation and direction to staff, as well as train and develop new staff.
- Maintain & improve operations by suggesting time/cost saving ideas and operational strategies.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma, Post‑Secondary education in an Aviation related or Management program would be an asset.
- Minimum 3 years experience in the air cargo industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be detail‑oriented and have good organizational skills.
- Must be reliable and have strong work ethic.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s license.
- Must be able to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
