Feel free to indicate your availability on your application.</strong><strong></strong></p></p><p>Position Description:</p><ul><li>Liaise with Manufacturing Team members and Leadership related to a Lean Project assigned to the selected Students</li><li>Conduct analysis with multiple departments related to the project scope as defined by Leadership</li><li>Communicate with Team Members regarding the problem statement and collect opportunities /solutions</li><li>Develop a project plan with tasks and timelines</li><li>Coordinate / facilitate internal meetings with key subject matter experts related to project goals</li><li>Interface with Managers and Senior Leaders to report project status</li><li>Provide a presentation with your recommendations and solutions</li><li>Retain all documentation related to the project for ongoing use within the business</li><li>Provide a final presentation on your experience with Land Systems Canada during your summer. What you were able to both learn & take away from the experience</li></ul><p> </p><p>Required Qualifications: </p><ul><li>Enrolled in University Degree or College Diploma program in relevant discipline. Manufacturing Technologist, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Business Admin, Manufacturing Operations,</li><li>Demonstrate ability to work independently</li><li>Demonstrated organizational, analytical and decision-making skills</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products, particularly in Excel, Power Point, Word</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in a team environment</li></ul><p> </p><p>Preferred Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Project Management skills / experience</li><li>Basic understanding of process analysis</li><li>Basic knowledge of Lean Principles</li><li>Advanced Level proficiency in Software Systems integration</li></ul></p></p>
