As a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing advanced test solutions for our products.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define system test requirements, design and develop test solutions, and ensure the successful integration of product with test solutions.
You will report directly to our Test Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Mississauga, ON location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the success of our engineering teams by providing technical guidance and support in the development and implementation of advanced systems. Your work will contribute to the overall performance and reliability of our products. You will be integral in creating system test solutions for electronic controllers that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will be involved in every aspect of the systems test life cycle; from the front end of business development through product end of life.

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of test engineering experience or combination of 5 years of experience in project management involving electronics product development
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with C programming skills

- Advanced knowledge of Electronic Circuits-Analog and Digital
- Advanced Test Hardware and Software design/automation experience
- Advanced knowledge in A429, CANBus, RS485/422, Ethernet communication protocols and troubleshooting
- Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done.
- Ability to adapt dictated by project changes
- Ability to multi-task and manage a team to complete complicated tasks.
- PMP Certificate is a plus
- Agile methodology project execution is a plus
- Project Engineering Experience is a plus
