This role involves developing and maintaining automated unit tests and ensuring the reliability and performance of cutting-edge technology within the defense industry.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain automated unit tests using Google Test (Gtest) and Google Mock for C++ components.</li><li>Design test fixtures and parameterized tests to validate robotic control algorithms under diverse scenarios.</li><li>Integrate Google Test into CI/CD pipelines (CMake, GitLab CI) to enable continuous verification.</li><li>Collaborate with software engineers to identify edge cases, failure modes, and regression risks.</li><li>Perform system-level validation of robotic control modules, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards.</li><li>Document test plans, procedures, and results for internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Contribute to test strategy improvements by leveraging modern practices in test-driven development (TDD).</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Proficiency in C++.</li><li>Experience with software testing, both automation and manual.</li><li>Familiarity with Google Test Framework (Gtest).</li><li>Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.</li><li>Experience with test procedure and test development.</li><li>Proficiency in CMake and Python.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with CI/CD processes.</li><li>Proficiency with Git/GitLab.</li><li>Experience in test-driven development.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p>This position is based on-site and involves working closely with a team to support cutting-edge technology within the defense industry.
