Our projects include Parliament (West Block & Centre Block), Lansdowne Park, Rideau Street, Elgin Street, multiple OLRT Stations to name just a few. We are proud to have worked on some of the largest landscape construction projects in our nation&#39;s capital.</p><p><br /></p><p>We are currently looking for hard-working individuals to join our growing team to complete snow removal at the Civic & General hospital, as well as (2) sites in the downtown area.</p><p><br /></p><p>Schedule:</p><ul><li>This is a seasonal position fromNovember2025 until March 13th, 2026.(Summer landscaping work available after the winter season.)</li><li>Shifts are on anon-callbasis and hours vary depending on the weather (8-16 hour shifts).</li><li>YouMUSTbe available24/7, including weekends and holidays, and be able to respond to dispatch on short notice.</li><li>Hourly pay,<em>with guaranteed hours.</em></li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Clearing snow from commercial sites and parking lots with a loader or skid-steer.</li><li>Remove and load excess snow/piles.</li><li>Safely operating snow removal equipment and following all safety guidelines.</li><li>Ensuring that all areas are properly cleared, salted and free of snow and ice.</li><li>Inspecting equipment and reporting any maintenance or repair needs.</li><li>Communicating with supervisors or team members to coordinate snow removal efforts.</li><li>Inspecting equipment and reporting any maintenance or repair needs.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>Must be available 24/7, Saturday to Sunday.</li><li>Must have a working cell phone.</li><li>Must have reliable transportation to get to sites.</li><li>Comfortable driving in all road conditions</li><li>Must hold a valid G Class drivers license and clean abstract.</li><li>Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.</li><li>Ability to work in cold and potentially hazardous weather conditions.</li><li>Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads (minimum 50lb).<br /></li><li>Can work independently and as a team.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><em>Please note: this job posting will be used to create a pool of applicants for current and further job opportunities.</em></p><p><em><br /></em></p></p></p>
