Within this dynamic environment, the Shipper/Receiver, working under the direction of the Shop Manager will undertake the necessary tasks to manage the process of items being shipped and received within the context of company and customer’s needs.

As well, this position is responsible for maintaining an efficient rental shop and yard by optimizing use of space and maintaining an organized, safe and clean area of work.Areas of ResponsibilityShipping & Receiving:Provide equipment to QAQC group that requires prep to ship modifications.Pick equipment and cable from inventory / QAQC group as required for each project.Prioritizing Rental orders, then accurately scan all rental equipment and cable into SAP/Bizrent rental orderPackage equipment for safe transport to ensure no damages during freightCreate bills of lading and equipment packing lists and manage their implementation for each orderLoad equipment to transport vehicles / trailers for each project and undertake the associated documentation process associatedUpdate calendars, rental orders and communicate as required to report equipment shipped / received to PM team per business best practices in placeReceive all incoming Parts, materials and consumables. Allocate parts to relevant projects and Distribute to appropriate departments and personnel.

Complete documentation process as required.Off load returned rental equipment from transport vehiclesScan and return rental equipment to accurately and timely modify rental ordersInspect rental equipment and cable for physical damages and complete related ReportClean equipment and cable so items are presentable and conforming to our rental ready standardsMove equipment and cable to QAQC holding areas and move equipment and cable from QAQC completion area to rental warehouseOrganizing Yard and warehouse to achieve optimal storage for equipment. Equipment Inventory / Shop Maintenance:Ensure all equipment, tools and materials are organized and maintain general order and cleanliness of rental shop, yard and common areasAssist with ordering consumables materials for rental shipping and receiving activitiesLock all equipment and connect heat to all dry type transformers in yard.Personal Development· Work with Manager to develop training and development paths· Assist Manager in setting priorities and objectives in line with the company’s overall goals· Participate in semiannual performance evaluations *Other duties as required in accordance with the Company’s requirements.Minimum Qualifications (Education, Skills and Knowledge)Grade 12 diplomaValid provincial Class C Driver’s LicenseValid forklift operator’s licenseAbility to carry out the physical requirement of the position including the ability to lift 50 lbs.Excellent computer skills Able to pass a Criminal Record check and reference checksAbility to work beyond regular work hours and weekends to meet customer deadlines as requiredExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsExceptional telephone mannerAble to make decisions and coordinate work based on information given by Managers, vendors and customers Ability to represent the organization in a professional manner, including professional appearance, grooming and appropriate business attire.High degree of professionalism and maturityAbility to take direction and accept responsibilityAbility to work autonomously and remain self-motivatedAbility to work safely and effectively under deadline pressureDetail oriented, with strong organizational skillsIntermediate to advanced skills in Outlook, Word, and ExcelAbility to type 50 wpmKnowledge and experience with shipping & receiving proceduresFamiliar with use of inventory management software PIca662f3bc84d-34600-34607074
