We are looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our growing team.</p><p><b>Service Technician Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Maintain, diagnose, and repair multiple types of refrigeration systems, as well as all mechanical and electrical components related to the equipment (such as self-contained coolers and freezers, single and rack systems, etc.) </li><li>Perform minor plumbing repairs on refrigeration equipment, including walk-in drain lines, case drain lines, cooling towers and water-cooled condensers </li><li>Inspect plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems and identifying specifications that are required </li><li>Perform preventative maintenance and repairs for HVAC and Refrigeration </li><li>Collaborate directly with grocery store managers and store directors </li><li>Quote equipment repairs and recommend replacement when necessary </li><li>Maintain proper van stock, tools and safety equipment on work van </li></ul><p><b>Skills:</b></p><ul><li>Good judgement for use of supplies and materials in refrigeration repairs </li><li>Attention to detail and critical analysis for diagnostics and work performed </li><li>Professional communication skills </li><li>Mechanical aptitude </li><li>Thoroughness</li><li>Communication skills</li><li>Organizational skills</li><li>Intermediate computer skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and on-call </li><li>Valid driver&#39;s license</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Red Seal Journeyman Refrigeration Technician </li><li>2- 3 years of supermarket experience (preferred not mandatory)</li><li>Knowledge in Commercial Refrigeration & HVAC</li><li>Safety Certifications (preferred)<ul><li>Fall Protection</li><li>Aerial Work Platform</li><li>First Aid</li></ul></li></ul><p><b>Compensation</b></p><p>Competitive Wages Local 516 </p><p>Rates: Union total package $74.93 (additional for GAS & ELE tickets)</p><p><b>Sign on Bonus </b></p><ul><li><b>$7,500 one-time bonus</b></li></ul><p><b>Benefits</b></p><ul><li>UA516 <span >Health/Dental/Vision</span> Benefits </li></ul><p></p><p>Job Type: Full-Time </p></p></p>
