Dilawri Group is now actively searching for a Part Time – Service Cashier to join the team at Meadowvale Honda.

Apply to this position if you:
  • Are available to work part time. Shift hours are flexible between 2PM to 7PM Monday to Thursday, and between 7AM to 4PM Saturdays.
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
  • Have experience with cash counting/debit/credit transactions

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers coming to the cash register counter in a friendly and professional manner
  • Reconcile the funds in the till every day
  • Make change and give the customers their receipts
  • Reconcile the funds in the till every day
  • Refer customers with questions about work done, maintenance or additional repairs to their vehicle, etc. to the Service Advisor or to another appropriate individual
  • Handle customer complaints with integrity and, if necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals, so that a solution can be found to their problems
  • Close all unpaid invoices, as per Parts Department instruction
  • Give customers cash refunds or credit notes for returned merchandise

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated excellent telephone demeanour and ability to accurately record messages and information
  • Demonstrated pleasant, friendly manner
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Able to cooperate with all staff members in all departments
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership of problems with a positive attitude and bring them to completion
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under all circumstances to deliver exceptional service to customers
  • Organizational ability and attention to detail
